SAVANNAH – Vaden Automotive Group, which has a dealership in Hinesville, has added two dealerships, Infiniti of Hilton Head and Vaden Nissan of Hilton Head, bringing their total dealerships to nine, according to the company.

The new dealerships are in the New River Auto Mall in Hardeeville, South Carolina.

“I’m so excited to add our fourth Nissan dealership and to bring the Infiniti line to our product offering” Jane Vaden Thacher, president of the group, said. “One of our goals has been to have a dealership in the Hilton Head market. This move is strategic and gives us the opportunity to expand our base in and around Savannah and offers both new and existing customers another location for sales and service.”

The group was founded in 1968 by Dan Vaden. The company is now led by Thacher, and is one of the largest woman-owned automotive dealership groups in the United States, according to a company news release. With more than 500 employees, Vaden sells almost 9,000 vehicles annually and reported over $304 million in sales last year.

“A lot of things have changed since my father opened Dan Vaden Chevrolet almost 50 years ago,” Thacher said. “But our core values are still the same: we take good care of our employees and our customers. We work hard every day to be the kind of company where people want to work, buy a car or have their car repaired.”

She said the company has doubled its footprint in recent years.

Besides Vaden Nissan in Hinesville, the group also as Nissan dealerships in Savannah, Statesboro and now Hilton Head. It also has Chevrolet-Cadillac dealerships in Savannah and Brunswick, and Chevrolet-Buick-GMC in Beaufort. It also owns Coastal Chevrolet in Savannah and now, the Infiniti of Hilton Head.

The release said the company launched an Allstate insurance agency in 2014, and created an automotive specialty software known as Revlink that has dealer subscribers all over the Southeast.
