Union University

JACKSON, Tenn. - Three hundred thirty-eight students have been named to the Union University President’s List for the spring 2026 semester.

The President’s List includes full-time students who achieve a 4.0 grade point average on a fourpoint scale. Local students named to the President’s List were: Elena Hazard of Fort Stewart Three hundred twenty- two students have been named to the Union University Dean’s List for the spring 2026 semester.

The Dean’s List includes full-time students who achieve a 3.5 grade point average on a four-point scale.

Local students named to the Dean’s List were: Daphne Hazard of Fort Stewart Five hundred six students graduated from Union University May 2 during spring commencement services of the 201st graduating class on the university’s Great Lawn.

Local graduates included Daphne Hazard of Fort Stewart, with a bachelor of arts in art.

Founded in 1823 and affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention, Union University is characterized by quality Christ-centered teaching and learning. Union offers liberal arts training in more than 100 majors and programs of study along with professional programs in business, education and nursing.

Utah Tech University

ST. GEORGE, UT - Utah Tech University celebrated the 2026 graduating class of 3,078 students at its 115th Commencement ceremonies this week.

Nicole Jackson of Mobile, Ala., was among this year’s graduating class.

The ceremonies took place May 6 and 7 at the Utah Tech University Burns Arena. Four ceremonies were held over two days to provide a more meaningful opportunity to celebrate each individual graduates accomplishments.

Southern New Hampshire University

MANCHESTER, NH Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Spring 2026 President’s List. The spring terms run from January to May.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.7 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/ spring, and summer.

Georgia Southwestern State University

AMERICUS - Derek Espinoza, a resident of Midway, made the Spring 2026 Dean’s List at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 849 students recognized for scholastic achievement.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Andrew Truesdale, a resident of Glennville, made the Spring 2026 Academic Achievement List at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 849 students recognized for scholastic achievement.

To be eligible for the Academic Achievement List, a student must previously earn at least 12 credit hours at GSW, be enrolled in 3 to 11 hours of courses, and earn a 3.5 or higher GPA.

South Plains College

LEVELLAND, TX - Eunice Ohidah of Hinesville, was named to the South Plains College Spring 2026 president’s list.

Ohidah was among more than 400 students named to the list.

To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 4.0 and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Troy University

TROY, AL - Troy University announces the students who have been named to the Provost’s List for Term 3 of the 2025-2026 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65 qualify for the Provost’s List. Term 3 includes students at Troy’s campuses in Dothan and Montgomery, Ala., along with locations outside of Alabama and online.
