Interstate Credit Union has started its first Extreme Makeover: Classroom Edition Contest.

The contest will award $2,000 to four teachers. Each winner will receive $500 to improve their classroom and learning environment for students.

Interested teachers are asked to submit an application with a video or short essay explaining how they could benefit from a classroom makeover or more supplies.

To be eligible for the contest, applicants must teach a pre-K-12th class in a school in Appling, Liberty, Long or Wayne counties.
