First Presbyterian Christian Academy of Hinesville recently garnered a high ranking among the 3,880 private high schools in the United States.

FPCA has been recognized by Best Private High Schools as one of Georgia’s top 100 private high schools, placing in the top four in the Southeast Region.

“We are very pleased with these results and feel confident that we will continue to compete with the schools in Savannah and St. Simons for years to come,” FPCA interim Headmaster Shannon Hickey said. “Our students are receiving a quality education with diverse experiences and are proving that they can achieve greatness at the collegiate level.”

Best Private High Schools ranks 3,880 high schools based on key student statistics and more than 120,000 opinions from 16,000 students and parents. A high ranking means a school is considered an exceptional academic institution with a diverse set of high-achieving students who express satisfaction with their experiences, according to the organization’s website.

First Presbyterian Christian Academy enrolls students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The school, which is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, is at 308 E. Court St. in Hinesville.
