Long County Middle School’s Beta Club and student council have been working on different projects to aid the community during the Thanksgiving holiday. The Beta Club recently sponsored an anti-bullying week and encouraged classmates to bring in canned goods to show that LCMS “CAN stop bullying.” Students brought in over 300 canned goods. The student council also has been encouraging homeroom classes to bring in their extra change. The money raised was used to provide Thanksgiving meals to five local families.
