The Liberty County Branch of the NAACP wants the city of Hinesville to disband its Crime Suppression Unit based on allegations of racial profiling. The NAACP will have a rally at 1:30 p.m. Thursday on the Liberty County Courthouse steps and will go before the city council during its regular 3 p.m. meeting at Hinesville City Hall.
According to a press release from the NAACP, the CSU has allegedly engaged in racial profiling incidents for the past four years.  For the complete story, pick up a copy of Wednesday's Coastal Courier.
