States largest boating event celebrates 50 years of fun

ATLANTA — The Progressive Insurance Atlanta Boat Show will cruise into the Georgia World Congress Center on Jan. 12-15, celebrating the boating lifestyle and 50 years of summer fun.
Visitors can view, board and shop hundreds of boats of all shapes and sizes from the region’s top dealers and take advantage of show specials on the newest marine accessories and electronics. The event also offers attractions for the whole family, boating courses for new and seasoned boaters to hone their skills and much more.
Attendees can stop by the Powerboat Docking Challenge, where boaters compete against the clock to dock a remote-controlled boat.
Free boating and fishing seminars also will be offered.
Bring junior anglers to the trout pond. Kids will get to fish for free.
