James Stewart, 30, died Saturday afternoon at a Savannah hospital after he had been shot Thursday, according to Liberty County Sheriff Steve Sikes.

Stewart was pronounced dead just after 2 p.m. at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Marquana Jasper, who is accused of firing a single shot into Stewart's head on Thursday night, likely will be charged with felony murder on Monday, Sikes said.

Saturday, Deputy Magistrate Jimmie Bowmar denied to set a bond for Jasper, when she faced aggravated assault charge.

Jasper is being held in the Liberty County jail.
