Motorists going over the hill to grandma’s house for the holidays should have an easier trip on I-95 since the highway has finally been widened to six lanes.
The widening project that began 17 years ago is officially complete, reported the Georgia Department of Transportation in a press release this week. The project covered 112 miles of I-95 through six counties, including Liberty, Bryan, Chatham, McIntosh, Glynn and Camden.
