“Listen to me, all you men of Israel! Don’t be afraid as you go out to fight today! For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you the victory!” Deuteronomy 20:3-4

I’m excited about the fresh opportunities that will present themselves in 2020! We have to declare our new season and new day! But whatever you do in this year, know that God is with Us!

There is confidence in knowing that He is our God. There’s no one Bigger or Greater than our God. I remember growing up as a little boy. If I ever had a bully or someone bigger than me and I thought I couldn’t whip them. I would make sure my big brother was nearby because that gave me confidence to go in the fight. Because I knew he wouldn’t let me lose. Because He is our God we walk in the authority of knowing we can’t lose!

The psalmist asks the question, “Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence?...” 

Because of our fleshly nature, we sometimes feel lonely, but God reassures us throughout his Word, that we are never alone. God is with Us!

Sometimes we get caught up in the emotions of the moment. And because of the emotions we make decisions that aren’t reflective of our character. The problem is that many of us aren’t patient enough to allow the Lord to fight on our behalf. We generally fail in the area of patience. We feel the Lord is too slow in reacting and would rather fight ourselves.

No matter what battle you may find yourself in, God is able to give you the victory and save you, your marriage, your home, your sanity, and your life! God is with Us!
