Former players doing well at Morris College

Former Liberty County High School and Bradwell Institute basketball players Diamone Johnson and Tiara Howard have done well at Morris College where both women are in their junior years.
Johnson has played in 21 games with 15 starts and is second in scoring on the team with 254 points, with a game-high 25 points against Voorhees College on Dec. 5. She has 71 total rebounds. In two seasons as a Lady Hornet, she has 453 points, 128 rebounds, 71 assists and 67 steals.
Tiara Howard, who started her high school career at Bradwell but finished at LCHS, has 16 starts in 21 games and 177 points with 106 total rebounds. She had a game-high 19 points Oct. 31 against Brewton-Parker. Howard has 475 points, 273 rebounds, 120 assists and 80 steals in three years at Morris College.
The Lady Hornets, 13-8 overall, play in the Independent Conference in Division I in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Morris College was scheduled to play Columbia International University on Tuesday and host Concordia College at 8 p.m. Saturday.
