First Presbyterian Christian Academy’s baseball team opened their diamond season at Appling Christian Tuesday and closed the game in five innings winning 13-0.

Highlander Steven Young was solid going 2-of-4 with 3 RBIs, hitting a single and a double. James Arnold was 2-of-4 with 2RBIs. Brothers Cameron Nunn and K’Ane Nun both had 2 RBIS each.

“Kyle hill pitched a complete game shutout,” FPCA baseball coach Ryan Harmon said. “He only gave up one hit through five innings of work.  No walks. He was lights out today.”

Harmon said the defense was impeccable.

“We played great defense not committing any errors and turned two double plays,” he said. “Overall a solid start to the season.”

FPCA will host their first game today at 4p.m. at St. James Field. They host St. Andrews.
