Lady Panthers sent off in style
sendoff6
The staff and children of the Pre-K Center sent coach Carolyn Kelly and the Lady Panthers off in style today. On their way out of town for the second round of state playoffs in Columbus against Kendrick, the bus made a detour through the Pre-K's parking lot so the students and staff could wish them good luck. All 450 students came out with signs and banners. Many students had panther paws painted on their faces to wish the ladies good luck this evening. The bus stopped and the ladies ran down the line giving high fives, hugs, and shaking hands with the students before loading the bus and driving slowly out of the parking lot to cheers and screams of good luck. Coach Kelly works at the Pre-K Center during the day and transitions to her Lady Panther coaching job in the evenings.
