It was a tough night for the local teams Friday night. Bradwell Institute, First Presbyterian Christian Academy and Long County High School all suffered losses on the football field.

The Bradwell Tigers were inBrunswick where Glynn Academy won 27-14 in a Region 3-AAAAA contest.

Long County played at Toombs County losing 34-21.

FPCA was in Lyons where Robert Toombs Christian Academy shut them down 55-0, the first time the Highlanders didn't score a touchdown in their first two seasons of play.

Liberty County high School had a bye-week.
