Mobley wins Cherokee Rose championship

The Cherokee Rose Country Club and Golf Course hosted its 35th annual championship tournament on Sept. 15 - 16, where, for the sixth time, Travis Mobley came out as the club champion. He shot a 72 and a 74 for a combined 146 and the trophy.

Coming in second place was Bucky Keel who shot a 71 and an 80. Jack Shuman came in third shooting a 75 and an 82. Shuman won third after a playoff round against Dale Rowe and Robert Darby.

Medalist trophy for low round went to Bucky Keel and the senior champion was awarded to John Porter.
