Dwayne Rye continued his stellar play capturing two of the Jake Blitz medalist honors during the past week, but it was Josh Olsen who had the low round of the week when he shot a 2-under 69 during Saturday’s round.

Beau Singleton captured two rounds with highest points totals for Saturday and Sunday with outstanding play with Rye capturing Wednesday and Sunday’s rounds with 70 and 73 and Olsen’s round outdistanced the entire field on Saturday.

Points winners for the week were Ricky Strickland with +10, Beau Singleton +11 and Beau Singleton again with +7.

Cherokee Rose also holds a four-person scramble every Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. Players are invited to show up by 12:30 and will be paired with other participants for the 18-hole scramble.

The Cherokee Rose Country Club Jake Blitz is held every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

Sign up times end at 8:30 am on Wednesday and Saturday with start time at 9:00 am. Sign up time ends at 12:30 pm on Sunday with start at 1:00 pm.
