Brian Carter and Rhonda Thomas
Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Thomas of Hinesville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rhonda Cathleen, to Brian Lenieu Carter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald M. Carter of Hinesville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Thomas of Screven, and Mr. and Mrs. Bela S. Hamilton and the late Maxine T. Hamilton of Leavenworth, Kan.
She graduated from Bradwell Institute in 2000 and attended Georgia Southern University and South University, and is an alumna of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. She is employed by Lincare in Savannah.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lenieu “Buddy” Carter of Hinesville and Myrtle and the late Lawrence Meredith of Marthasville, Mo.
He is a 1996 graduate of Bradwell Institute and a 2001 graduate of Valdosta State University with a degree in marketing. He is the compliance officer for The Heritage Bank in Hinesville.
The couple is planning an intimate wedding for Sept. 29, 2007 at Faith Chapel in the historic district on Jekyll Island with a reception to follow at Villa Marianna.
