My husband is a cookie freak. I try to always have cookies in the house, and my mother never comes to visit unless she brings a couple dozen. Yes, he is spoiled, and now Ive found another cookie that he loves.

These salted chocolate butterscotch cookies are so decadent that even when I make a bunch, they rarely last a day. This recipe has only five ingredients and takes just minutes to put together. These cookies bake up soft, and the butterscotch chips are slightly melted and so sweet plus they have a light salty flavor.

I love using cake mixes for my cookies because they have everything you need already measured out and ready to go. With this recipe being so easy, it could be dangerous but its worth it!

BELLES SALTED CHOCOLATE BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES

1 (15.25-ounce) box milk chocolate cake mix (dry)

cup oil

2 eggs

1 cup butterscotch chips

Kosher salt

Mix together the dry cake mix, oil and eggs. Stir in the butterscotch chips. Using a cookie scoop or teaspoon, place on an ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle with kosher salt and press gently to make sure the salt sticks to the dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
