FPCA beats HH Academy 72-56 Friday

Highlanders George Mitchell and Isiah Scott combined for 44 points as the First Presbyterian Christian Academy boys’ basketball team defeated Hilton Head Academy 72-56 Friday.

Mitchell scored in 24 points and Scott had 20 in the win. Senior John Killough added 14 and was 4 of 6 at the line. Mitchell opened the game hitting 2 three-pointers a layup and another three-point shot to set the pace for the game.

The FPCA boys are currently 7-3 overall. The Lady ’Landers and FPCA boys will travel to Pembroke Friday to play at Coastal Home School. The girls starts at 6:30 and the boys game will follow.

Next week, they start region play at Citizens Christian Academy.
