Tigers streak to 9-0 start

The Bradwell Institute boys basketball team continued its impressive start to the season with two more convincing wins.

The Tigers ran their overall record to 9-0 and to 2-0 in Region 1-AAAAA with a 62-36 win over region foe Coffee and a 68-41 romp over Glynn Academy.

Elyjah Thurmon notched a double-double with 17 points and 17 rebounds in the region win over the Trojans. Chris Perry had 11 points and Tahshaun Frasier registered seven points and nine assists.

Jamal Jackson and Dar’Kari Pasley each had six points, while Zay Thomas and Tyon Jones each had four points.

Jy’Darius Odums led the Trojans with eight points.

Perry led the way with 16 points, Frasier chipped in 11 and Thurmon added 10 in the win over the Red Terrors.

Kohlmin Nelson scored eight points, Jamal Jackson added five and Pasley and Christopher Owens each had four points.

Bradwell plays North Forsyth on Thursday at 1 p.m., faced Stephenson on Friday at 1 p.m. and meets Brunswick on Saturday at 8:30 p.m.
