The wedding party surrounds the new Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph R. Aikens

Leslie LaTara Monique, daughter of Lois Holden of Hinesville and Anthony Holden of Riverside, became the bride of Rudolph Roland Aikens, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph R. Aikens Jr. of Newfield N.J.
The ceremony, performed by the Rev. Awood Jones, was on Aug. 2 at The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees N.J.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory taffeta, pick-up ball gown with champagne beaded lace bodice.
The maid of honor was Jymia Johns of St. Augustine Fla., who wore a champagne, long, strapless, satin A-line dress with sweetheart neckline. The matron of honor was Felecia Kellam of Statesboro, who wore a truffle, strapless, satin ball gown with side ruching and beaded bodice.
Bridesmaids were the bride's cousin Nieema Hurdle of Springfield Gardens, N.Y., friend Fonia Fox-Davis of Portsmouth, Va., friend Tiffany Jackson of Riceboro, friend Sonia Boga of Loma Linda, Calif., and friend Tranay Wilson of Millville, NJ.
The flower girl was the bride's goddaughter Alexia Boatwright of Statesboro, escorted by the bride's nephew Josiah Holden of Jacksonville. The ring bearer was the groom's godson Kyree Wilson of Millville.
The groom was attended by Charles Wilson of Millville as best man. The and ushers were friend Milton Bowen of Sicklerville, N.J., groom's cousin Curtis Jones of Swedesboro, N.J., groom's cousin Melvin Holmes III of Newfield, N.J., bride's brother LaMar Holden of Jacksonville, friend Jeffery Allen of Sicklerville, friend Johnnie Whiteside of Lindenwold, N.J., and friend Sultan Tucker of Glassboro, N.J.
A reception followed at The Mansion. After the honeymoon in Bermuda, the couple will reside in Newark, Del.
The bride is a graduate of Liberty County High School and Elizabeth City State University and works as a Chemical technician for Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics. Her husband graduated from St. Augustine Prep and Old Dominion University. He works as a sales merchandiser at Pepsi Co.
