Coastal Bank hires local vice president

Danny Creasy has been hired as vice president and Hinesville branch manager of The Coastal Bank.
In his new position, Creasy is responsible for consumer and small-business lending, as well as daily operations at the Hinesville office, 101 Hendry St.
“We’re thrilled to welcome such an accomplished banker to manage our Hinesville office,” said James Rogers, The Coastal Bank senior vice president and Liberty County city executive. “Danny combines a passion for banking, a legacy of leadership and a commitment to customer service. He will serve as an excellent resource for our consumer and small business customers. Danny’s knowledge and experience will add to our local team that truly knows the Hinesville/Liberty County market and cares about the success of the bank’s clients.”
Before joining The Coastal Bank, he spent 13 years with The Heritage Bank. He most recently worked as the special-assets manager there and previously served eight years as the branch manager at The Heritage Bank’s Midway office.
Creasy earned a bachelor’s in finance from Georgia Southern University in 2000. He is the former chairman of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce board of directors and is involved in fundraising for the American Diabetes Association. He was Liberty County’s first Kiss-A-Pig winner, raising a record $160,000 for the American Diabetes Association in 2008.
A native of Liberty County, Creasy resides in Midway with his wife and their two sons.
