Golden Corral is opening Wednesday

Golden Corral Buffet and Grill will open its newest restaurant, at 741 E. Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 24. 

The Hinesville Golden Corral will bring 130 new jobs to the community, which will include a mix of full-time and part time employees. 

The new restaurant is more than 7,500 square feet in size and will seat approximately 275 guests.

Besides its lunch and dinner buffets, which will feature more than 100 hot and cold food items, the new Hinesville Golden Corral will serve a three-day “Sunrise Breakfast Buffet” from 7:30-11 a.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Hours of operation for the new Hinesville Golden Corral will be 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 7:30 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday; and 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Sundays.

The restaurant also has banquet facilities that will be available free of charge for groups and organizations in the area t.

The new Hinesville Golden Corral is owned by local entrepreneurs Rajan "Rock" Patel, Shefali Patel, Kantilal Patel, Sushilaben Patel, Atulkumar Patel and Mike Dolan. 

Dolan also will serve as the restaurant’s general manager and will oversee the restaurant’s daily operations
