HINESVILLE, Ga. — The Coastal Georgia Military Affairs Coalition announces that Chris Giorgianni has been approved as its Vice Chairman.
Giorgianni joined the Board of Directors as an Industry Representative in July 2021. He will serve to guide the coalition toward achieving its mission and is charged with the accomplishment of goals and objectives of the coalition. He will be responsible for providing oversight to all established committees and chair the Program Planning Committee.
“We are excited to have Chris as the Vice Chairman of our board and are looking forward to his continued service to our board and see what he can accomplish for our coalition members and the military community in this new position,” said Hinesville Mayor and board Chairman Allen Brown.
Giorgianni is currently the Vice President of Government and Defense, Products and Marketing, at JC Bamford in Pooler, Georgia. Over his 18-year career with JCB, Giorgianni has served in several roles. He began as a Product Specialist for Backhoe Loaders in 2003. Shortly after, he became JCB’s first American employee to be based at the company’s global headquarters, serving as Worldwide Product Manager for Backhoe Loaders and as Regional Manager for Northern Europe.
“I am very excited about this new role on the Board of Directors,” Giorgianni said. “I look forward to this new opportunity in supporting our military communities in Coastal Georgia.”
Incorporated in 1999 as the Friends of Fort Stewart and Liberty County, the organization reorganized as the Coastal Georgia Military Affairs Coalition in 2019, with a mission to enhance the overall economic value of Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield and the surrounding communities through a progressive regional partnership.
